Richard's personal Bench the Stench Closet is triggered by an Internet of Things Wi-Fi Electrical On-Off Switch

Richard created his Bench the Stench air drying cycle to accomodate his hockey playing schedule. This assumes that the protective hockey gear was put into the Bench the Stench closet sometime after his game and before the IFTTT schedule initiates the air circulation system. The benefits to scheduling the operation of the Bench the Stench closet is that he can take advantage of drying his hockey equipment during off-peak hours (lower cost) and Richard is assured that he will always have warm and dry hockey equipment for each of his scheduled games.
